| I've always admired Michael Ball. He's a great singer! One of the best--no: THE best male singer I've ever heard. Even my mother has fallen in love with his voice since we first heard him sing Gathsemane in the "Royal Albert Hall Celebration" video for Andrew Lloyd Webber's birthday. Then there was the "Les Miserables in Concert" video, and "Hey Mr. Producer!" Finally, I got ahold of two of his CDs: The Musicals and Christmas. I honestly thought I'd never hear a guy sing Memory that beautifully. (I tried once, and let me tell you: it wasn't pretty!) I'd like to hear his voice for Deuteronomy, Gus / BJ / Growltiger, Munkustrap, maaaaaybe Tugger, or even Skimbleshanks in CATS. |
